Immersive Picasso exhibition at the Carrières des Lumières, a stone's throw from our hotel

From 13 February 2026, The Carrières des Lumières in Les Baux-de-Provence are offering a new immersive experience dedicated to Pablo Picasso, one of the major artists of the 20th century. Entitled Picasso, Art in Motion, this monumental creation plunges visitors into the heart of his work thanks to over 450 images projected onto the stone walls. Paintings, drawings, sculptures, ceramics and collages come to life in a visual and musical setting designed to enhance the unique architecture of the site.

The exhibition retraces the major stages in Picasso's life and work, from his Spanish roots to his French years, via Cubism, Les Demoiselles d'Avignon and Guernica. In addition, a short experience devoted to Frida Kahlo offers a sensitive and moving counterpoint.
